FISH BONZ CATCHES THE HEAVIEST WHITE MARLIN IN THE 30TH ANNUAL WHITE MARLIN OPEN
Doug Remsberg of Walkersville MD reeled in the winning 78 ½ lb white marlin on the final day of the White Marlin Open -- the largest billfish tournament in the world -- to win first prize for the Fish Bonz team totaling a world record payout of $1,303,965 in the 30th Annual White Marlin Open held 4-8 August 2003.
Remsberg was fishing on Fish Bonz out of Ocean City Fishing Center with CAPT Mark Radcliffe, Mate Mike Walsh and crew members Gary Seiss, Craig Clark, Brian Eaton, and Cathy Smith.
